On the holidays, I had the fortune to go to Gencon Australia in Queensland. Essentially, it is a massive gaming and manga convention. It was absolutely awesome. I was in heaven (figuratively speaking). I even got a photo with a stormtrooper. It was really funny to see all the nerds out in force during that week.
